DEBATE IN CLASS :)

hye all... now, my class is doing a debate..what an interesting activity ever. because i do like debating.. i dun know why.. well my turn has just finished.. i'm debating about the effects of media on young children. if you are on my shoes, what would you give your opinion?? either positive effects or negative effects??

well, i'm giving my opinion on the positive effects. why did i choose positive effect??? okay let me explain, media gives more postitive effects actually if we know how to differentiate between good and bad. if media gives negative effects, why don't authorities in all over the world stop any media from developing? think it back :)

okay, my opinion for the debate just now was by reading newspaper, magazines etc the children learn many things, their reading habiot increases and their vocabulary enchances by learning new words. their knowledge increases by watching geographical channel, quiz programmes and speeches by famous personalities of different fields.
other than that, media can enchance some skills such as communication skills through vocabulary and theor dialogues. children are tend to immitate what the cartoons are saying like mickey mouse, minnie mouse, etc.. this will give them more confidence to speeak with their friends.
